A small, fast, and scalable state management library for React. Uses a hook-based API with minimal boilerplate — create a store in a few lines, subscribe components to exact slices of state, no providers or context wrapping needed.
Why
Redux felt like too much for what I was building. Zustand is a store in ten lines, no ceremony.
Notes
Components subscribe to exactly the slices of state they need. No unnecessary re-renders, no boilerplate. Feels natural inside React.
Built-in React state is enough for most things. Zustand earns its place when state needs to be shared across parts of the tree that don't share a parent.
