Tailwind CSS

Utility-first CSS framework, responsive design

About

A utility-first CSS framework that provides low-level utility classes for building custom designs. Instead of predefined components, you compose styles from a constrained design system — spacing scale, color palette, typography — all configurable.

Why

Writing custom CSS for every component gets old fast. The constraint system keeps things consistent without needing a full design system.

Notes

It clicks once you stop thinking about it as inline styles and start thinking about it as a set of deliberate limits. The constraint system is the feature, not the utility classes.

v4 moved config entirely to CSS with @theme — no more JS config file. Took some adjustment. Using arbitrary values values a lot for the precise colors and sizes this site needs.
